- Camp Taco: A Tex-Mex restaurant with a vintage camp aesthetic that's great for summer time. Next door sits Lost Forty Brewing, the largest in the state, and The Railyard, a food truck yard. We rotate through the three depending on what we're in the mood for!
- The Bagel Shop: Where we go after church or when friends are in town. They might not beat an NYC bagel, but they get an A+ for effort! The cream cheeses, toppings, baked goods, and QUICHES are what really makes this shop special.
-Loblolly Creamery: Unique flavors and ice cream flights! This is a must for any sweet tooth. Jordan recommends the fresh mint chocolate chip in a cone; Chandler recommends a small cup of the Rock Town Bourbon Pecan. Take a pint home if you can!
- The Root Cafe: One of our favorite restaurants that reminds Jordan of places he went growing up in Southern California. Great place for brunch, burger, and salad dressing from this quaint cafe with almost all locally grown foods.
-Bruno's Little Italy: An old Italian heritage restaurant downtown with Sicilian recipes, fresh baked bread, and housemade cheesecake. We keep it pretty basic here, but it's all about the fresh pasta. Jordan's go-to is the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, while Chandler loves the Spaghetti ala Sol Alman.
There are some other standout options we recommend & frequent like Loca Luna, Bark Bar, The Pantry, YaYas, Big Orange, Three Fold Dumplings, and Cypress Social. Happy to help with any specific questions, just give us a text.

The historic 1937 Art Deco building was retrofit by Studio Gang in a really interesting way. From the Cultural Living Room, you can see the original facade, as well as the steeple of the church we are getting married at! Our church is a short walk away if you wanted to stop by before getting to the ceremony. Admission & parking is free.
Pinnacle is a local favorite and our favorite nature spot in the area! An hour-ish long hike to the top with a beautiful view. Lots of rocks so could be considered challenging, but the trail categorizes it as easy. Also has a pleasant strolling trail around the base of the mountain for a scenic walk or run with grandfather trees and a variety of wildlife.
